		<title>Trainer Sarah Balcer</title>
		<description>For as long as I can remember, I have always had an interest in health.  I attended the University of Tennessee (Go Vols!) where I majored in Nutrition.  While attending UT, I also developed a love for fitness and started doing training of my own.  I soon realized that I wanted to be able to implement proper nutrition coupled with an active lifestyle which led me to becoming a personal trainer.    I have been in the health and fitness industry for the past five years in Greenville, SC working as a Personal Trainer and Health Coach.  Recently relocating to Hickory NC, I’m excited to share my passion for helping others make small changes in their lifestyle now which will produce lasting lifestyle improvement in the years to follow.  The only thing we can ultimately ever control is our attitude.  Through commitment, dedication and hard work, optimal health can be achieved.  I have had the privilege of helping many people develop healthier habits, change their shape, change the way they feel, and even eliminate medications.  There is nothing more rewarding than helping people enhance the quality of their life.    Nutrition and fitness need to go hand in hand.  You cannot do one without the other and expect to see positive change.  Nutrition is 80% of the equation concerning body composition and regular exercise is paramount for cardiovascular health.  Exercise yields many benefits such as muscle strengthening, definition, increasing bone density, improved mood, lower heart rate and better sleep.  Regardless of what we read - there is no “magic pill” out there.  If you are willing to put in the work, you will achieve a better quality of life.    As a Personal Trainer, my professional goal is to inspire, educate, motivate and hold you accountable so you can meet your health and fitness goals.  I am excited to be a part of the Original Workout team and look forward to helping you achieve a better quality of life.</description>

		<title>Trainer Carrie Crater</title>
		<description>Nutrition, health and exercise has always been important to me. Loving the positive changes to my mind, body and spirit that accompanied my journey into eating well and exercising, led me to the career of being a personal trainer and health/nutrition coach.  I am originally from Pennsylvania, and have lived in several areas before settling in Hickory almost 12 years ago. I graduated from Clemson University where I majored in Early Childhood Education and subsequently taught first grade for several years. My love of teaching and helping others, combined with my passion of promoting good health and nutrition makes being a personal trainer  a perfect  job for me, as it embodies many of the things that I love to do! I love being  part of the team at Original Workout!  As a trainer, I will work with you in many areas. We will begin with an assessment of your overall health and current  fitness level, and then discuss the goals that you wish to achieve.  My role is to provide you with the tools you need for success -motivation, encouragement, well planned workouts, individualized nutrition plans and whatever else needed to ensure your success.  I have experience in training people of all levels-from people who have never worked out before, to experienced lifters-to everyone in between, and will work with you to design the perfect workout and nutrition program to meet  your individualized goals and needs.  You can feel confident that in training at the Original Workout, you will receive top notch training in a motivating, professional and encouraging environment where you will be set up for success in meeting all of your goals.  One area of key importance is nutrition. I have a wealth of knowledge in this area that I will use to help you tailor your diet to meet your goals.  I will look at your current diet and teach you ways to improve upon it to meet your individual goals. We can discuss healthy options when going out to eat, healthy snacks, etc.. I love to cook and will share lots of recipes as well for nutritious food that is supportive of your diet.  I have experience in training one on one, pairs and also small groups. I enjoy teaching various fitness classes as well.  Seeing  the changes in my clients and the positive impact it has made on their lives has been so rewarding and I look forward to helping many more people at Original Workout!</description>
